Sun Sibaya is offering a Gaming Operation Learnership aimed at unemployed individuals interested in gaining experience in the gaming industry. The programme forms part of the organisation’s commitment to South Africa’s national skills development agenda. Successful candidates will complete a 12-month accredited learnership leading to a National Certificate in Gaming Technical & Floor Assistant (NQF Level 3). The programme includes workplace exposure and practical training designed to improve future employment opportunities. Participants must be willing to work in gaming environments, including smoking and non-smoking areas.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Respond to guest queries and provide support on the gaming floor
• Clean, service, and test gaming machines and related equipment
• Maintain gaming kiosks, displays, card readers, and other components
• Assist with moving gaming equipment and machines
• Keep the workshop and gaming areas clean, organised, and safe
• Store and secure equipment properly

Qualifications

• Matric Certificate or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification
• Valid South African ID
• English passed at school level
• Ability to work shifts and in smoking environments
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Well-presented and professional appearance
• Physically able to stand for long periods and move equipment
